Meet The Models: Katrine Svane Ohnstad Balabanian

Katrine is 40-year old hairdresser from Voss. She works as a manager in one of the Visit salons in Blomsterdalen and lives in Arna.

Being a busy working mum, she barely has time for any hobbies, she says, as she spends most of her time working and taking care of a her 3 kids! But she does manage to squeeze in some time for yoga before the kids wake up and heads down to the nearby lake for a little cooling-off- dip after they've gone to bed!❄️ "I have a new-found love for cold water", Katrine says, "it gives me peace and calm in an otherwise hectic everyday life"!

Sometimes she even manages to whip up a nice sourdough bread before bedtime as well!

When Katrine goes shopping for swimwear she always looks for 3 important things; good fit, comfortable and durable! Because as a very enthusiastic ice swimmer, Katrine prefers something that will last a long while and can be washed over and over again! But of course in cold water, to save the environment😉

As many other winter swimmers, Katrine misses more colourful swimwear during winter season! That's why she enjoys our swimwear at sbs so much😍
